The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has left in force the security measure of “prison arrest” for former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj.

The decision was made this Wednesday by Judge Miliana Muça, who reviewed the appeal filed by Beqaj against the decision of the Special Court of First Instance.

Through the appeal, Beqaj had requested the replacement of the security measure “prison arrest” with the measure “house arrest”.

Alternatively, he had requested its replacement with the “property guarantee” security measure, proposing the amount of 2 million lek or another amount that the court would deem appropriate./vizionplus.tv
