New details have emerged from the serious accident that occurred this Wednesday afternoon on Tirana’s Grand Ring Road.
From the footage provided by Euronews and sources from the scene, it is known that a heavy tonnage vehicle collided with an SUV, which was completely destroyed by the collision.
After the accident, the heavy-duty vehicle broke through the bridge’s protective barriers and ended up falling down onto the other road, where it also suffered extensive damage.
Preliminary sources near the scene of the incident say that as a result of the accident, one person is suspected to have lost his life, while another was seriously injured.
Police forces and emergency teams are at the scene, while work continues to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
