The driver of an “Audi” vehicle was also injured in this fatal collision, while investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident continue.
At first, the State Police had difficulty identifying the people in the concrete mixer. Authorities later confirmed that the victims were two Egyptian citizens. The driver of the concrete mixer died at the scene, while the passenger died in hospital, despite doctors’ efforts to keep him alive.
Newsbomb.al has learned that the two Egyptian citizens had come to Albania for employment reasons and had become part of the staff of the AlbaBeton company, one of the companies operating in the construction sector in our country.
Through a quick search in the “Open Corporates” database, the data shows that the company’s shareholder structure includes Artan Dulaku, Adrian Dulaku, Genc Dulaku and Erjon Harizi. The latter also holds the position of president of the Albanian Builders Association, where he is also a co-owner of AlbaBeton.
